About Warp and Gilt

Warp and Gilt is an independent, home-based business — no warehouse, no showroom, just a genuine love for Art Deco design and a lot of care in choosing every piece that makes it into the shop.

Some aesthetics are timeless — and Art Deco is one of them. The bold geometry, the warm metallics, the sense that every object in a room was chosen with intention. We love that world. And we noticed something: finding genuinely Art Deco-inspired home goods meant hunting across dozens of shops, settling for near-misses, or going without.

Warp and Gilt exists to change that.

We started with woven textiles — pillows, throws, and blankets — because beautiful woven Art Deco pieces were nearly impossible to find in one place. From there, we expanded into a carefully curated collection of home goods and accessories that all share the same DNA: the glamour of the 1920s, the craftsmanship of the Great Gatsby era, and the kind of considered design that makes a room feel complete.

How we source it: We don't keep our own stock on hand. Instead, we work with a network of makers and specialty suppliers who produce genuine Art Deco-style pieces, and we personally vet every one before it earns a spot in the shop. That means we can bring together a far wider range of authentic pieces than any single workshop could — but it also means most items ship directly from the maker, typically arriving in 10-15 business days. We'll always tell you what to expect at checkout.

Every item in the store is hand-picked. If it doesn't feel like it belongs in a beautifully appointed Art Deco interior, it doesn't make the cut. And if something ever arrives not as described, we handle it directly — you're never stuck between us and a supplier.

If you love the aesthetic and want it woven into your everyday life — without the treasure hunt — you're in the right place.

We're a small operation, and every order is handled personally. If you have a question before or after you buy, you're talking to a real person.
